The Cager's Go to Ecuador

It’s crazy to think that Robert and I met 4 years ago. A lot has happened over the years: we’ve been married over 2 years now, graduated undergrad and enrolled in grad schools, we’re merging families, lived in 3 different apartments, bought a car, seen a couple states, and traveled internationally for missions. Amidst all the changes, some things remain the same – we’re holding onto our marriage and the Lord’s been faithful.
Now, God has a sense of humor. He is constantly calling us into change and faith driven situations. At the beginning of our marriage, God blessed us with the awesome opportunity to go to Sweden on a Gospel Choir Tour, where we ministered the Gospel through song together. This was an amazing experience, particularly because it was through worship that we met and fell in love. This time, God has called us to go international again. However, instead of sending us out to minister, the assignment is to learn and be ministered to in Ecuador as we learn about Human Trafficking in the Americas. Ministry has embedded itself into our lives and there is no sense in fighting it now.
Through Robert’s studies at North Park Theological Seminary, we’ve been invited to participate in this learning experience. Attached is a letter from Rev. Dr. Paul de Neui, PhD., course professor, that further explains what this experience entails. Although this is a great opportunity to learn how we can further serve the kingdom, we’ll need your help to make it happen. Beyond tuition, the cost per participant is $1300 which is not inclusive of vaccinations or updating my passport (I know). It is our goal to raise $3000 by March 31.
Monetary gifts are helpful, but the greatest gift anyone could give as we embark on this journey is prayer. Would you continue to lift us up and ask God to feed our heads, soften our hearts, and make ready the way. And in turn, we will be praying that God continues to provide abundantly for you as you partner with us.
