Café Con Rumba: An Evening of Dance and Cultura!

Sofia Bengoa and Valentina Guedez Delgado are incredibly excited to present Café con Rumba: An Evening of Dance and Cultura! at Arts on Site on Thursday, September 14th, 2023. Our goal is to create a space for our community during Hispanic Heritage Month by curating a show that celebrates and honors our stories and rich cultural heritage. Our show will feature the works of 10 Latinx/Hispanic choreographers who live and work in New York City. It is important for us to create an environment that brings the nostalgia and memories of home, where we can gather as a community and share as we would with our families. To bring our vision to life, we need your support! Your contribution will help cover production and theater expenses, as well as provide compensation for the talented artists involved in the showcase. Every gift brings us one step closer to achieving our goals, and we sincerely hope you will consider donating to support us. Sofia Bengoa y Valentina Guedez Delgado están super emocionadas de presentar Café con Rumba: Una Noche de Baile y Cultura! en Arts on Site el Jueves 14 de Septiembre del 2023. Nuestro objetivo es crear un espacio para nuestra comunidad organizando un show donde podamos celebrar y honrar nuestra rica herencia cultural durante el Mes de la Herencia Hispana. El espectáculo estará conformado con las obras de 10 coreógrafos Hispanos/Latinos establecidos en Nueva York. Es importante para nosotras crear un ambiente lleno de nostalgia y recuerdos de casa, donde nos reunimos en comunidad y compartimos como lo haríamos con nuestra propia familia. Para hacer realidad esta visión, necesitamos tu apoyo! Tu contribución ayudará a cubrir los gastos de producción y el teatro, así como también proveerá compensación para el grupo de artistas involucrados con esta presentación.
