Cafe Bosna's coming HOME )'( Help us get there ❤️

We are Cafe Bosna, the world's first and only coffee band and analogue sensorium experience.

Our project was conceived during Balkan Fest, in a hidden Gypsy village in the heart of San Diego. During our first 5 years of existence, it was only enjoyed by our Balkan family at the festival. When we introduced it to the rest of the world we realized the joy and magic Cafe Bosna brings to audiences all over. We ventured into the world through the vortexes of Bombay Beach on the shores of Salton Sea. We matured while roaming the North American continent from California deserts to Yucatan jungle. And now the day has come when we are ready to come Home. Each of us at Cafe Bosna calls Black Rock City our home, but this will be our first time coming there together as a crew.

We were invited to create the space at Kamp Kiss (6:45&C) and offered a beautiful 800 square feet tent to do it in. It's a large space in which all your senses will be stimulated. To make this happen, we need to haul a lot of cool stuff with us. While our campmates are offering tremendous help to us, there are still a lot of moving parts and pieces that need to happen. We need to make a 1400-mile round-trip journey, rent transport, fuel it, and purchase all the consumables.

We planned 2 full-blown 6+ hour scheduled activations, but it's Burning Man, so there will be plenty more un-scheduled activations as well. We also plan to activate Cafe Bosna on our friends' Kuker art car. Besides Cafe Bosna activations, there will be numerous DJ sets with live instrumentation at different camps and art cars. Estimated total time of brewing coffee and playing music is 40-50 hours. Below is the breakdown of where the money will be going.
