March 31st my younger brother Caesar Miranda passed away. He was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and wonderful Friend to so many. My little brother was 28 Years old and had his entire life ahead of him, unfortunately he lost his battle with a rare disorder called LCH.
Caesar was battling LCH (Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis) This rare disorder causes tumors. A tumor was formed in his head damaging his pituitary Gland ( The pituitary gland is referred to as the “master gland” because it monitors and regulates many bodily functions through the hormones that it produces, including: Growth and sexual/reproductive development and function. Glands (thyroid gland, adrenal glands, and gonads) Organs (kidneys, uterus, and breasts).... We have spent the last year in and out of the hospital treating his brain tumor, my brother was given numerous medications and we were getting ready to start chemo. Unfortunately his body had other plans and ultimately he suffered kidney failure. This was so unexpected and sudden. We were not prepared for his rapid decline of health we thought he was getting better We had high hopes because LCH recovery rate was so high we NEVER expected this. This GOFundMe will be to cover funeral expenses and his hospital bills so my Mother and Father will not have to carry any financial burdens as this entire situation has been so tough on them.
