Hi, my name is William. A few weeks ago, I took my sweet, beautiful, perfect pup Caesar to get checked by the vet for a cloudiness that had been developing in his eyes over the course of a few days. Thinking it was some sort of degenerative eye disease, I had already begun thinking the worst. But, I was not expecting to hear even worse news: that he has Lymphoma, cancer of the blood. After many tests and a visit with an oncologist we finally got some good news: that he has B-Cell Lymphoma, a less aggressive form of Lymphoma with a better prognosis. Coupled with the knowledge that he is not showing any signs of sickness, with treatment, Caesar is expected to have a full year with a great quality of life. Without treatment, that one year would be one month.

Caesar was born in May of 2021, he is not even three years old. I got the extra special and rather unexpected chance of delivering him to this world with my own hands, creating a truly special bond. Besides him being my literal baby, I feel like he deserves the chance to have another year with a great quality of life if he can get it. If he were an older dog it would be easier for me to stomach, but that is not the reality of our situation. If I didn't go through with his treatment I would feel like I was giving up on him. Any pet owner could empathize with me about how I feel about Caesar's situation. Treatment would allow me more time with my special boy, and more chances to take advantage of the time I have left with him.

Your donation would greatly help with the feasibility to receive the treatment necessary to give him more time here with us. Donations would go towards his weekly treatments (chemotherapy, upwards of $400/week for 25 weeks), any necessary tests and visits, and any other expenses necessary to keep him healthy. The goal of $10,000 is a rough estimate given to me by the specialist himself, and doesn't include already accrued debt from veterinary costs.
