(I'm typing this quickly before I leave to drive Caden to the hospital, I will update with more details when I find the time.)
Hello, my name is Ian Reents. I'm on here trying to raise money to help my boyfriend get through some medical issues right now.
He recently complained about having a racing heart, palpitations, shortness of breath, and fatigue. So we took him to the hospital. They did an EKG and said nothing came back and then his heart rate calmed down and he was released home but referred to a cardiologist.
The next day we found out that the insurance needs his primary care doctor to write the referral. So we scheduled an appointment with his primary care doctor (whom was out on maternity leave) so he ended up with another doctor whom upon inspection told him to leave and go immediately to the ER. He was dizzy, breathing heavy, and having heart problems again. This was scary for all of us.
Once at the ER, several things were suggested like "anxiety" and "A-flutter". They did another EKG as well as a CAT scan, chest X-ray, blood tests, and urine analysis. All came back negative. They gave him a relaxer and a pain medicine. However the pain didn't stop and we didn't have answers. They once again sent us home.
Today we went back to the primary care to get a referral for the cardiologist.
We went to the cardiologist and he thinks it could be Wolf Parkinsons White Syndrome and a few other things however, he too sent us home and ordered a monitor for Caden. He also needs to get a stress test and an ultra sound but he has to wait until the 18th because of insurance.
Tonight as I type this, we are on our way yet again to the hospital, tonight he is having head pains from the dizziness and cold chills. I will be updating as more happens.
We're scared and we want answers.
Also, I myself have recently lost my job and Caden being sick can't work to help with these bills that keep stacking up. I'm trying to help take care of him but we really could use some help.
If you know me, I don't ask for money on these things. But we are desperate and really need help. Please everything helps.
