My dearest niece, Cadence, was only 15 when she decided that life was not worth fighting for. I can never understand how one can find the strength to do so.  Depression it turns out was deep seated, but was easily masked with teen angst. I know, even with her brief stay with us, that she had the capacity for happiness and kindness. She enjoyed her time with her cousins, and she most definitely loved being big sister to her siblings. Her biggest regret after all this, is that she would never get to see her brothers and sister grow up. Please pray that she finally finds peace, that those who suffer from depression can find the strength to ask for help and see that there is hope. Please pray for our family.
