Cadence Laszlo House Fire Recovery
Donation protected
Cadence Laszlo, a rising junior at Kaplan High School in Kaplan Louisiana just lost everything she and her family owned in a house fire on the night of July 27th 2020. Thankfully the entire family which consists of her father, Jeremy, her mother, Rachel, and her younger brother, Dristan were in Michigan on vacation. Cadence is a model student and an even better friend. She has been a member of the Pirates’ Gold Dance Team for 2 years, she is a member of the beta club, she serves on student council as her class representative and treasurer, she served as a team leader the Leader in Me program, all while juggling a 4.0 GPA. She is also an active member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and is a part of the TAG (Talented and Gifted) Program in Vermilion Parish. Cadence has a heart of gold and will always go the extra mile for her friends. I am one of her friends and I am asking that we come together as a community in such a rough time and donate what we can to Cadence and her family. She is an art fanatic and lost all of her art supplies, art, and instruments in the fire. I know that being a teenage girl is very hard without the pressures of trying to start from scratch with everything that you owned. I can only imagine what she must be feeling and how worried she must be with school coming up and her having no house and very little clothes. Please open up your hearts to help this family in any way that you can
