CADENCE GOES TO PERU 24 high school grad college acceptance

Donation protected
Cadence is an 18 year old African American male who was raised in Pittsburg, Ca. He struggled with a speech impediment in his early years and the pressures of following the stereotype of being a tall African American boy who should otherwise, in the eyes of many, play and excel in sports.
Cadence, raised by a single mother, desired more than anything to immerse himself in the arena of Classical music. He was shunned for the thought and audacity to fulfill this desire but has excelled against all odds. Cadence has lived in over 11 houses and attended 7 schools in his young 18 years of life due to his mother's financial instability. Despite his circumstances, he has fought against all odds to get where he is today and was just accepted into his top choice school for college, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he will attend in the fall after his graduation from Academy of Thought and Industry High School.
Cadence has traveled to several countries including Spain, Ireland and Ecuador studying and singing Classical music with the Pacific Boychoir and has done a Ted Talk , which can be found on YouTube, on his journey and the importance of finding comfort in your own skin. He wants the youth to know they can be and do anything they set their hearts and mind to no matter their race, gender, height or economic background if they just work hard and believe!
Thank you for reading this brief description of Cadence's story in which he is working on a book entitled "Rythms of Life", to continue sharing with the masses. It will be entitled, "Cadence a Beat to His Own Drum! Please enjoy the links. We hope that your heart feels led to help him in his last trip as a high schooler to PERU! We can't do it without YOU and your generous support over the years. What a great graduation gift this will be and so well deserved! You can look his name up on youtube and find other documentaries on him, his Ted Talk, a documentary and music he has sung. THANK YOU!
