Caden was hospitalized in September of 2018 and diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis. This is a lifelong autoimmune condition sparked by various triggers including environmental and food allergies. His family has incurred several medical bills due to the many tests, endoscopies, specialists' visits and prescriptions. The Boswells are currently in the process of seeking treatment from an Eosinophilic Disease Center out of state, and are facing obstacles from their insurance company.
Eric and Danette (Caden's parents) are public school teachers for the state of Oklahoma with 28 years combined service. They have served over 1,400 Oklahoma families throughout the years! They spend countless hours planning and providing the best education they can for kids. Medical expenses are tough for an average family, but especially for families on fixed incomes like this one.
It's time this family has the opportunity to focus on their own son's treatment without financial burden. Let's help the Boswells afford treatment for Caden! #TeamCadenB
