A family of 4 in our community is in desperate need. Here is their story:
"We have lived in Johns Creek for 20 years. I have received an eviction notice from the apartment landlord due to our one month past due of $2, 114. We have two children, 18 and 21 who are seeking gainful employment to assist us after my husband was severely injured in a car accident. He was on his way to meet a client off Delk Rd when he had a stroke upon entering the parking lot, he hit 7 cars. He is unable to drive for 6 months and can't work until further notice. I am a nurse working at Morningside of Alpharetta caring for a wonderful elderly lady. My wages alone are not sufficient to cover the medical bills, rent, and to purchase a new car (this was our only vehicle). "
Kindest Regards,
Ms Cabuya
Their faith has enabled them to emotionally pull this. I have verified the landlord's eviction notice, obtained a copy of the lease, and reviewed the accident report to ensure this family need is legitimate. Judging by the damaged car pictures, her husband had angels by his side. He is fortunate to be alive.
My heart goes out to this family who appears to be hardworking and dedicated to keeping their apartment and family together.
Please join me in assisting this family through this tough time. A few of us can simply skip Cyber Monday shopping and donate here instead to make an impact! Let's raise $10,000 together.
"PAY IT FORWARD" this holiday season. 100% of funds collected with go to supply 2 months rent and to purchase a car.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
