Cabs for Jabs Tonbridge Area

We are raising funds to cover the taxi fares for all those over the age of 65 (now open to all in the current groups) who will then get free transport for their vaccination appointments. We hope to cover the cost of both the first and second round of jabs.

Many are worried about travelling on public transport to their appointment as they may come into contact with more people than they would in a taxi. This scheme should make it easier for for them to travel alone or with someone from their household.

We hope that those eligible for the vaccine will be far more likely to get it if they do not have the worry of the cost of getting there and back safely.

We hope that only those in genuine need of financial assistance will take advantage of the scheme, and ask that if you know of anyone suitable that you make them aware of it. 

Castle Cars will cover any administrative costs and fees connected with this fundraiser, as well as making an initial donation. All monies raised will only be used towards the taxi fares of those eligible for a vaccination. At this time we can only cover the fares of those attending a vaccination appointment in the Tonbridge area. 

Bookings can only be taken based on the availability of our drivers, and if required we will try and pass bookings to other local licenced drivers, but it is important that bookings are made as far in advance as possible.
