Cabin 1 Make Over

My name is Debbie Dawson.  I'm raising money to benefit Daybreak Camp Inc, and any donation will help make an impact.Every year for the past 20 + years I have been volunteering at an Elementary Bible Camp called Adventure Camp at the beautiful Daybreak Camp.  I, along with another adult and a teen, have always served in Cabin 1. Together we guide and mentor a group of 2nd grade girls.  This has always been the highlight of my summer.  Sadly this year I will not be able to serve due to the Corona virus.  However, Daybreak has begun a campaign in which someone can pick a cabin and then raise money to have it refurbished and to give the cabin a new name.  I felt it was only natural for me to pick Cabin 1 since it is my home one week out of the year.  I love serving at Daybreak and getting to know my 2nd grade girls on a more intimate level as I guide and lead them toward making steps to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The girls also make lasting friendships and fun memories.  While at the camp the children can swim, do crafts, play games, do woodworking, leather and many other activities.  Most importantly they can participate in bible lessons and twice a day there is a devotional time that is geared toward their level.  Most summers I grow just as much spiritually as the children do.  I have seen campers come back year after year and I have even had past campers come back and be my teen helper or even my co-cabin leader.   Want to join me in making a difference?  If you do decide to contribute then in the comment section put an idea of what you think the cabin should be called instead of cabin 1.  I'm looking for suggestions.  .
