Cabana's medical expenses

Donation protected
Most of you know that we adopted 2 lovely kittens almost 1 year ago, Casey and Cabana. On Thursday they decided to help themselves to a grocery bag to get to the dog treats inside. On Saturday morning we found Cabana sleeping and not wanting breakfast. We then found he had puked up dinner from the night before and it contained a small piece of plastic. We rushed him to the 24 hour emergency clinic in Westford MA where they kept him for 24 hours. He got x-rays, ultrasounds, fluids, and a nasal tube to drain his stomach. Luckily there was no more plastic found anywhere in his digestive tract. However, he had already suffered some damage. His stomach was inflamed and he was not digesting correctly.

Emergency vet bills are quite costly and during this time I do not have the money to pay for his care. I have put the bill on my credit card because not getting him treatment was not an option! Cabana is such a light in this house. He thinks he is a dog and will run to greet you at every door, swat you if you walk by without a hello, and snuggle you for hours on end. I don't ever ask for help but I feel this time I need to. His bill was over $2000. If there is anyone out there that could help us feel less of this financial burden it would be appreciated more than I could every express. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
