Cabana Dan's Rebuilding After Hurricane Ian

Hi, my name is Heather and I am a long-time friend of Cabana Dan’s. Cabana Dan rents equipment such as chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, paddle boards, and kayaks to residents and visitors at Vanderbilt Beach.

Despite efforts to move and save beach equipment from his multiple Vanderbilt Beach locations, Cabana Dan’s bread and butter were washed away by Hurricane Ian. Sadly, these items (worth $80,000) were not covered by insurance.

Dan built his business from the ground up in 1998 and has been a permanent fixture on Vanderbilt Beach ever since. He is a visionary and gives back to our community in various ways.

Cabana Dan wishes to reopen, serve his patrons on Vanderbilt Beach and get his beach staff back to work. I want to help support and spread the word to help him in doing so. Money raised will be used to get him back open, purchase equipment, and get employees back to work.
