Andy's Surgery

Meet Andy!  Andy is a 10 week old Border Collie mix puppy with a big problem!  Andy has a PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus), which is a persistent opening between the two major blood vessels leading from the heart that should close shortly after birth.  Andy visited the cardiologist today ($515) to confirm our suspicions.  It was also found out that Andy has moderate heart enlargement, but the cardiologist believes that we can reverse some of these changes with surgery and allow Andy to lead a normal life!  But we need some help!  Surgery for Andy is expected to cost around $3500.  

As you have likely noticed we don't ask for help even on our sick puppies as usually our other adoption fees help fund our large medical cases, but being a new rescue we don't have that much reserve and Andy needs our help fast!   If you can even donate $5-10 towards Andy's care that would be much appreciated!  All of the funds raised will go directly towards Andy's care.
