Jodie Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund

In 2018, the governing council of Founders Christian School created the Jodie Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor a graduating senior who most embodies the values of Founders. It is time to raise funds again for this same purpose! When we created the school in 2012, we made it our mission to advance God's truth for God's glory by educating students from a biblical worldview. This scholarship honors and rewards the graduating student who most embodies our goal: to equip future Christian leaders with the spiritual and academic tools for lifelong learning, and to enable them to think, reason, and communicate well from a biblical worldview.

We named this scholarship the Joetta Pearson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Joetta "Jody" Pearson was our beloved librarian through the formative years of our school and was instrumental in helping us instill a love of reading and learning in the very first classes of students here at Founders. She passed away in 2015 after a prolonged illness, and she is missed by the entire Founders family.

The selection and award process for this scholarship will be managed by our school administration.
