CA "Camp Fire" Relief Fund
Donation protected
Instead of gifting for the Holidays this year, my family is using the money to give to those who have lost their home due to the devastating fires in Butte County, CA "Camp Fire". As of November 19, 2018 it has:
* burned 150,000 acres
* destroyed more than 11,000 homes
* taken the lives of 77 people
* left nearly 1,000 are still unaccounted for
100% of all money raised will be donated to the United Way of Northern California. The money will be given to those who have lost their home and apply through norcalunitedway.org for
relief. It will help aid those people in moving from temporary to permanent housing, lost work wages, food, transportation, clothes, and anything else they need.
California is near and dear to my heart because it is the place that I was born and raised but especially Butte County as I spent time there playing baseball and enjoyed time on the lake in the summers. The people and community were always warm and welcoming, and it crushes me to see and hear about the devastation. Thank you in advance to anyone who gives to this cause, hopefully together we can help restore some joy to the families around this Holiday season.

I will be withdrawing the money and personally sending the check to the United Way of Northern California. Thanks again!
