Ethan Solheim

Hello everyone. As many of you know, Ethan was in a terrible work accident on Saturday, Oct. 29. A sweep auger cut him while he was in a grain bin and severed his femoral artery and sciatic nerve high in his left leg. He underwent a 4 1/2+ hour surgery that night into the morning. While in surgery, he had his calf muscle opened because of severe swelling. (compartment syndrome) He underwent another surgery on Nov 1 to repair the inside of his calf, but the surgeons could not close up the outside as there was still too much swelling. He will eventually need another surgery to repair the outside of his calf. The biggest concern is that he does not get an infection in his leg, which will cause more issues. He is currently at Altru in Grand Forks in the PCU and will be for a very long time. Ethan will be out of work for an extended time and still needs to pay his bills. If you can help him out, we would greatly appreciate it. If anything, please keep praying for him.
