Hi Everyone, my name is Devon and I have started a fundraiser for my mom, Bobbi. My mom was diagnosed with Squamous cell throat cancer with connection to base of the tongue and left side jaw muscle. She was diagnosed April of 2023 after a long journey of being blown off by doctor after doctor. Her symptoms started in July of 2022. Finally she was taken serious and was sent to UCLA and was diagnosed there. She has a very curable prognosis and will be starting her treatment soon. There will be 7 weeks of radiation at 5 days per week and possible low dose chemotherapy. Recovery is estimated at 10-15 weeks. She will Repeat pet scan 90 days after final treatment. Although my mom has great insurance, I would like to help her with necessities that her insurance will not cover. If you know my mom then you know she is the most generous and kind person and helps anyone she can and this would be the least I could give her to help her through these difficult times. We appreciate all prayers and thoughts and we will post her progress along the way.
