USAW Coaches Apprentice Trip

Coach Bundy is a well respected wrestling coach who has dedicated his adult life to coaching youth wrestling.  He is the head wrestling coach for West Valley High School in Spokane, Washington, Head Coach of Bundy’s Wrestling Academy, and is on the coaching staff for the Washington State Schoolboy Wrestling Team. 

Eastern Washington is lucky to have a coach with the passion andaspirations of Coach Bundy for the sport of wrestling.  The wrestling community of the state of Washington and the Inland Northwest benefits by sending Coach Bundy to the Junior World Championships because it shows our region’s love and support for the sport to have a coach from our area represented.  This apprenticeship will allow him to coach alongside the best wrestling coaches in the United States as well as the world.  Coach Bundy will bring back knowledge and experience from the Junior World Championships that he will be able to utilize when coaching boys from across the state on the Schoolboy Team.

USA Wrestling is unable to fully cover the cost of the apprenticeship which leaves Coach Bundy with the burden of finding funding or missing out on this prestigious opportunity.  The cost of the apprenticeship/trip is $4000 with an upfront deposit of $1500 due by the March 24th.   

Coach Bundy is a USA Wrestling Bronze level certified coach who is aggressively pursuing his Gold level certification.  Coach Bundy is also a FILA (United World Wrestling) Freestyle International Certified Coach.
