Help Ron during his recovery
Donation protected
Ron Albright is our oldest brother and has a wonderful wife, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who all love him. In addition, Ron is a veteran who went into the Navy right out of high school and joined the Army National Guard later in life. Ron served in the Iraq war and although he came home a hero has never looked for credit for his service. He was also a truck driver and when covid hit was out on the roads while so many of us were “locked down”. As usual he did this service without complaining.
On Thanksgiving day (2021) Ron suffered a major heart attack while hosting family for the week. The heart attack he had is known as “the widow maker”, and he’s lucky to be with us. It’s still unclear how much damage has been done to his heart, but due to the severity of the episode and recovery time he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. Ron is one of the hardest workers you will meet, so this will be an additional stress and financial burden for him and his wife as he works on recovering.
Over the years Ron has always been there to help anyone who needs it, whether family, friends, or fellow soldiers, and has been a role model to his many siblings. We’re hoping to raise money for him to help cover the costs of living while he goes through the arduous task of applying for disability, with the longer-term goal of his heart continuing to heal and him returning to work. We sincerely appreciate anything that can be done to help out.
