Heya! My name is Ziggy and I am fundraising for my top surgery. This for sure has been a long time coming- I’ve been trying to get this surgery for 8 years now and it’s so surreal to finally say it’s happening. And soon! My date is October 16th, “just around the corner” as my friends keep reminding me. This whole process requires me to step outside of my comfort zones in a lot of ways, and asking for help is one of my big steps in moving forward. Unfortunately, due to the extended healing time, I will be off of work close to 3 months. I am applying for short term disability during this time, however due to the nature of disability income, I won’t be receiving my usual full paycheck. These funds will be going towards recovery items, basic needs, and rent. If 1,600 people contributed $5 I’d be able to meet my goal, so if you cannot donate I ask you to please please share!
