Hello. I am writing the letter from inside the Gaza Strip. I am your friend Hamada Tayeh. My family and I were also victims of the continuous bombing of the Gaza Strip. Within a few weeks, we saw our entire lives destroyed, and we are now no longer able to live here.

My message to the world.

Dear world,

The war and Israeli bombing have affected everyone to the point that no place is safe anymore. Friends and family have been bombed and killed. Nearly 70% of the homes in the Gaza Strip are destroyed, and the Israeli occupation army indicates the start of a ground invasion into the last two safe areas in the Gaza Strip. I happen to live in one of these two areas, specifically the city of Deir al-Balah, which is being bombed by the Israeli occupation army from land, air and sea. In the midst of the Israeli destruction and geographic genocide that we were subjected to, which was broadcast on television to the world, I was no longer able to continue living as usual. I fear for my life, and I fear for the life of my family as well.

Therefore, I call on you to join hands in a humanitarian effort to escape from the scourge of war and have a chance at a new beginning.

My story is the story of many Palestinian youth who dream of living a normal life away from the constant killing and bombing. In the past four months of the Gaza genocide, we have all faced unimaginable scenes of death, destruction and hunger, and yet it continues!! I appeal to the honest and sincere world to support. After so many weeks of bombing, I can only hope to escape the immediate danger and horror and pave the way to a safer and more hopeful future where I hope we can continue to resist and advocate for a free Palestine and a free Gaza.
