My best friend Hailey's grandfather, Jay or Pops is in the ICU with pneumonia on his birthday. This is the second time he has been in the ICU in two weeks. He went into cardiac arrest last night and had cpr performed for 2 min. Pops was just placed on dialysis. He also needs stones in his

gall bladder removed. He has blood clots in his lungs and needs a chest tube to drain liquids. currently hooked up on breathing tubes and in the process of dialysis. Pops is Hailey's only guardian ( her mother and father not present). He has been taking care of Hailey since she was 3 years old. Pops has been retired for over a decade and has been barely surviving on social security. We are praying for a safe and quick recovery of Jay, however, they have no way of affording all of these medical bills. If you are able to donate that would be greatly appreciated. But prayers are most needed at this time.

We just found out that Pops didn’t have any life insurance, meaning none of the funeral expenses will be covered. On top of that, he had a reverse mortgage on the house, so the bank now owns it, and foreclosure is inevitable.

Hailey, at just 20 years old, is facing all of this on her own. She’s not only trying to cover funeral costs but also has to keep up with utilities, HOA fees, water bills, and everything else—all while dealing with the heartbreaking loss of her Pops and the uncertainty of losing her home.
