Arnold Sanchez Sr died on December 10, 2022, at his home. His death was very sudden and was not expected. Muffley’s funeral home is handling the proceedings. His son is asking for help to offset the cost of funeral arrangements; Arnold Sanchez Sr. was born in Brownsville Texas on May 16, 1943. He served in the military as a medic. He has one son Arnold Sanchez Jr, and his girlfriend of 17 years Josefita Griego , his former wife Mary Frankie and a grandson Miguel Sanchez. He had multiple brothers and sisters. He went to college and received his master’s degree in English and a bachelor's in Spanish, then became a teacher.

He was a former boxer, and football player and loved to spend as much time with his only child as possible.He loved Bob Dylan, loved to write poetry and go to Walmart. He was a very simple man who did not own a lot and did not have insurance.

Unfortunately because of the holidays, and the very unexpected death the family is asking for any kind of help to offset the cost of funeral arrangements.
