Hello guys, my name is Bruna, i'm brazilian, 24 years old. I've been studying in Melbourne, Australia for 1 and a half years. When my final exams finished i went to Thailand for a holiday. Everything was going good, but me and my friends decided to rent a scooter to get to know the island of Koh Phangan. When i was taking a curve, the back tire slip on the sand and i felt off. Some piece of the bike punctured my shin and it went 6cm deep. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days and i have 46 stitches in my leg, taking antibiotics and pain killers for my unbareble pain. I also lost my boat and 2 flights to go back to Melbourne. I have an overseas health insurance but it didn't cover outsite Australia so i had to pay all the medical bills expenses. To pay it off i had to spend all the money that i had saved and also nedded a loan. Now i don't even have money to buy food and pay the rent of the apartment for next month. The money that i'll raise will be used to pay the loan that i got and to buy medicines and food. This donations means a lot to me because i can't walk, meaning that i can't work too. I'll be so much grateful with anything that you can donate! Everything counts for me right now. It could mean a tablet for pain or antibiotics that will prevent further infecction.
