It's been a little while since you have heard from Ella-Reid's army but we need to rally some troops based on some recent news about our friend, Caroline. We first met Caroline Belcher when she was just 3 years old and diagnosed with PNET, the same horrible cancer that Ella-Reid had. While Caroline has been stable for quite a few years, a recent MRI detected the return of her cancer and 9 new tumors in her brain. It has been devastating and this coming Friday, Caroline will come to Cincinnati to have brain surgery at Children's Hospital. They hope to be able to remove the tumor and biopsy it, to determine what kind of treatment is possible. We can attest that there is no greater pain or stress than dealing with this battle. And yet, on top of all of this, Caroline's dad, Brian was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We feel powerless for the Belchers in this nightmare but also know the feeling of being supported during the hardest time of our life. And so, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to come along side this family with any kind of monetary gift. No amount is too small, but given their upcoming expenses, we know it could be appreciated. Emily has no idea we are doing this, and we think she will forgive us and put it to good use in the near future for travel, lodging, and many more expenses related to Caroline's treatment.
