We are robotics team 5089, the Robo-Nerds.

Our mission is to empower the youth of our community to pursue STEM regardless of age, race, gender, or socioeconomic status.

This mission was recently acknowledged during our Los Angeles Regional Competition, where we won the IMPACT Award, the most prestigious award in our robotics program that recognizes teams for the change they’ve made in their communities.

The IMPACT Award also sends teams to Houston, Texas for World Championships. As we plan to take this trip, we kindly ask for anything you’re willing to spare. Your donations would cover our food and transportation expenses.
