Help Susan Beat Cancer!!!
Donation protected
I am asking for help for my friend Susan Borders. She began having stomach problems the end of June that continued to get progressively worse. After months and multiple tests Susan was given the devastating diagnosis of stage IV colon cancer.
Susan has been a Neuro Intensive Care nurse at St. Mary’s for 28 years and was one of the frontline workers in the fight against COVID. Her job is helping people and she has helped save so many lives. Susan is young, only 50 years old and has 3 beautiful children. She is the most beautiful, generous person with the best sense of humor and love of life. Susan loves her family and friends with everything and our world has been turned upside down.
Susan has been sick and can no longer work and the timeline for her to return to work is unknown. She is currently having chemotherapy in Saginaw and will be undergoing multiple surgeries at St. John Hospital in Grosse Pointe to remove the cancerous tumors. She does have insurance but we all know that only covers so much and the medical bills and expenses along with travel will be overwhelming. She is experiencing such financial hardships and I want her to be able to focus on beating this. Susan is in the fight of her life so please help if you can and also please share her story.
