Please help the Foley Family

My name is Carley Senter, and I have been a close friend of the collective Foley family for many years.  On Sunday evening, June 7, I received a call from Juli Foley saying there had been a fire pit accident in their backyard.  In the accident, Patrick Foley was burned primarily on one of his legs, Juli was burned on her hands, and their 11 year old son Charlie had been the most traumatically impacted by the fire.  Charlie was airlifted to CHKD, a Norfolk, VA, pediatric hospital with severe burns. Charlie was immediately admitted to the ICU where he was identified as having 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 25% of his body.  Currently, Charlie has had 2 surgeries to address immediate burn trauma, and was transferred to the pediatric burn unit at the Shriner hospital in Ohio on Tuesday, June 9th with his mom, Juli. As you can imagine, this has been absolutely devastating to their family as Charlie is a close and well-loved son, grandson, nephew, big brother to Carolina, and cousin to Sophia and Drew. Their worlds have been turned upside down in an instant. We are first asking for many prayers for this family as they navigate this horrible situation. We also know that there will be many hospital bills to follow, and we want to help support them not only with our prayers but through financial support. We are asking that if you feel led to, please give what you are able to help the Foley family with the financial hardships we know they will face. As of right now, there is no way to know how much money they will need, but if there is any money left over that is raised, it will be donated to CHKD in Norfolk and the Shriner’s hospital in Ohio. The family has been advised that Charlie has a long road ahead for recovery, but we are all extremely grateful he is at Shriner’s hospital to receive the specific kind of care he will need.  We have faith that God will heal Charlie, and we know that the family will be surrounded by the many friends and family to lift them up in this difficult time.
