Meet our gorgeous boy, Kappa.  He is one of our very much loved herd at HorsePower Brigadoon (formerly Riding for the Disabled) and an everyday hero! 
He is a specially trained and accredited horse who  helps us transform the physical health and emotional well-being of children, young people & adults with diverse abilities and mental health issues.  Kappa works hard every week and brings so much joy to each and every individual he works with.  
 
Unfortunately Kappa (who is a young, 15 years old) has developed a back injury known as Kissing Spine.  This is an extremely painful condition and while steroid injections, massage, chiropractic care are helpful ultimately Kappa needs to undergo major back surgery.  This surgery is not only costly but requires extensive rehabilitation over a 6 month period.  

Kappa means the absolute world to so many of our riders at HorsePower Brigadoon as he has worked so hard and helped so many.  It is now our time to give back to him and we are asking for your assistance no matter how small so that we can fund Kappa's surgery and rehabilitation.
