Assist Mara Millman's Family with Funeral Expenses

It is with great sadness that I have to ask for financial assistance on behalf of my three nieces, Jae, Misha, and Ryanna. Due to the unexpected passing of their mother, my sister, Mara Millman.

Mara was a loving mother, a devoted partner of 30 years, a dear sister, and a generous friend to many. After a long and agonizing struggle with lupus and multiple other chronic conditions for her entire life, she succumbed to complications from her illness and passed away on Saturday March 1st, 26 days before she would have turned 55.

Unfortunately, due to her poor health for her entire life from her childhood disability, she was unable to leave behind any funds to cover the costs of a burial. Because she was a religious Jewish woman, we are hoping to avoid the cheaper option of cremation, but the costs would be a heavy burden on our family. We are asking for funds to cover the funeral and any other death-related expenses that may occur.

Mara was also the sole provider for her two disabled children and her partner Roque who has lovingly taken care of her and their children full for the last two decades, since she became unable to work. Without her, they will they struggle to afford payments to stay in their home. Any additional funds above the amount we’re asking for will be put directly towards mortgage payments, bills, and other urgent financial necessities so they have the time to grieve before they adjust to their new financial situation.
