Hello my name is john, I would never normally do this and ask anyone for anything but today I flew Into San Francisco to pursue a opportunity to grow my photography and dreams to be a travel photographer and While I was out To eat tonight I parked my car on the street not knowing how bad this city really is and to my surprise I come back to my car being broken into and my camera bag being stolen. $12,000+ worth of stuff in it gone. What was supposed To be an exciting trip turned to one of the worst days of my life losing $12000 over the span of a dinner meal. To those who are wondering what could be worth $12,000 here is the break down. Camera, canon R5 - $4200 ( after taxes) 24-70mm 2.8 lens - $1800, 16-35mm lens - $2200, 70-200mm lens - $2200, 50mm lens - $200, rode boom mic - $300, DJI spark remote - $150-200, 3 256gb sd cards, $150 and other items. I really dont like doing this but I cannot Afford to repurchase all these items again and I can’t even do the work for them to make the money back without my gear! This is literally the worst thing to ever happen to me , for those who enjoy my photography as much as I do I’d really appreciate it if you could help with anything in these trying times it would mean the world to me.
