Meet Maddie!  Maddie is an outgoing, funloving, affectionate, adorable girl who was born with Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, a condition that causes physical impairments and severely limits her mobility. 

At 14 years old, Maddie is 5'5" and about 80 pounds.  After two leg surgeries and a spinal fusion back surgery, It has become difficult to lift her into the back seat of our sedan and her wheelchair into the truck.  Additionally, she's growing out of this wheelchair and the next one won't fit into our car at all. 

Maddie LOVES being out in the world! Like all children, she loves going to the aquarium, Disneyland, school, etc. she lights up around other kids and enjoys being with groups of people.  

My name is Keisha Maddie is my oldest. I also have a six year old son who loves his big sister and cheers her on when she's doing her physical therapy.  

I work full time and I manage three apartment buildings to make ends meet.  Buying a wheelchair accessible van is beyond our means, yet not having a van means that we won't have a way to transport Maddie. Please help us keep Maddie mobile!! She needs a van, not just to get to school and to visit family and friends, she needs it for doctors appointments and physical therapy (Check out the video of Maddie working on her walking!). 

With your generous support I plan to purchase a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odessy. Without this van, I won't be able to get Maddie out of the apartment very often, which would definitely reduce both of our quality of life.
