Study Abroad to Argentina

This coming winter session, January 1st to the 28th, I had the goal of traveling to South Africa to Study, however plans have changed because: the winter program there was canceled, and because of the recent ebola scares, I thought that it’s best not to venture in to north Africa at this time, since Morocco and Senegal, were my next options…So, I have decided to travel to Argentina instead.

After accessing how this program can best benefit me. I’ve decided to take spanish, since I have never learned the language… Learning spanish would benefit me professionally since spanish is widely spoken across the U.S.  So having an understanding of it would help me understand and communicate with those who speak it.  Additionally, where best to learn a language than the countries where they are spoken? So Argentina makes sense!

I look forward to immersing myself in the culture of Argentina because being culturally aware is a trait that that I aspire to develop. So, learning a bit about this country, puts me one step closer to that goal.

My new fundraising goal is $3,500:
Air Fair: $1300.00
Tuition: : $800.00
Program Fee: $1410.00
