we appreciate times are tough for everyone and there is a lot of worry and unrest in the world right now, and funds are tight. I always avoid posting fundraisers as long as possible as I am so greatful for our wonderful supporters, and I hate asking for money…however…

we are a very small rescue and the only funds we get are donations and adoption fees, adoptions are at an all time low and costs are higher than ever, as is the pressure to help dogs in pounds every day, it’s heart breaking and soul destroying and in all honesty, I just don’t know if us humans can keep the rescue going with the constant worries we face both for space and funds.

our vet bills alone are between £4000 - £5000 a month, the increased cost of food means this is around £1000 a month, flea and worm treatments, fuel costs etc etc, it goes on and on and we need a safety buffer of funds for emergencies as we would absolutely hate for the decision between life and death to come down to

funding.

we take breeds most rescues are not able to cater for, and these dogs are often not able to be rehomed due to complex needs and behavioural issues, we have Tibetan Mastiffs, Caucasian shepherds and Belgian Malinois as well as chow chows and many other breeds that are just being bred and sold indiscriminately to people that are not geared up to care for these dogs - who then end up in the pounds waiting to die, in the slim hope a rescue space will be offered, but we, like all rescues are on our knees and need help to be able to

responsibly continue to help the dogs that need us the most.
