Cooperstown Baseball Fundraiser

Donation protected
This summer the Lewisboro Lightning will be traveling to Cooperstown, New York to participate in the National Invitational Baseball Tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park.

The Lightning consist of a roster of 11 boys, all of whom live within the Katonah-Lewisboro community in New York. This Cooperstown trip is something that the team has been working towards for several years and it is the culminating event of their little league baseball careers. Yes, at age 11-12 they are retiring from little league.

This amazing experience will happen in August 2016, but prior to that we need to raise money for our travel expenses and tournament fees. In addition, the Lewisboro Baseball Association (LBA) is run through volunteer efforts and a portion of the money raised here will also go to providing scholarships to members of the community. For some, these scholarships will make the difference in whether or not certain children will be able to participate in LBA baseball/softball.

We are asking for a donation, of any size, to allow us to reach our team goal and community fundraising goal of $15,000. Please consider making a donation to support our team as well as others who love baseball as much as we do.

Thanks for helping us get to Cooperstown
and let’s go Lightning!
