Hi, my name is Allen Graham. Thank you for reading my request.
I'm a missionary in Ecuador. I’ve never had my own children, but I have had the opportunity to be a dad to some kids abandoned by their fathers. In fact, two of them have never even met their dads. My desire is to break this cycle of fatherlessness so that a new legacy can be passed on.
The pandemic here in Ecuador and in Peru has taken a toll on many jobs. Three of my guys have lost their jobs in the past few months. The situation is very difficult and I need to help more, but I need your help to do so.
[Kristian and his son, Ryan, live in Peru.]
In Peru, there is still a lot of instability and prices are rising. Good jobs are difficult to find. Ecuador is more stable, but unemployment is still high. My hope is that my kids can become established quickly as their countries recover and that they can once again provide for their own needs and those of their families.
[I first met Patricio in an orphanage that our radio station in Guayaquil was supporting.]
Your gifts will be used to help two of them finish their studies, both have just a couple of months to go. For others, the funds will be to help with food, housing, small business startups, and to pay off a loan for a recent operation.
Thanks for joining me and my kids. They are all hard workers. Together, we can leave a new legacy for the next generation.
[As an elementary school student, Alejandro went to the city center to shine shoes in order to help out his mother. He has never met his father.]
