Goldie is our very special one year old boy. He was rescued a few months ago in terrible shape. He was so matted his pelt came off in one piece and he had over 150 foxtails.  The most special part of his rescue is his bonded friend, Nugget. When they were rescued Goldie wouldn't get in the car without insisting someone follow him. So they did and that's when they found Nugget hiding in their den.  Goldie loves and worries about Nugget. He truly is the sweetest dog! Their rescue has been a special one for us and they have been doing so well. Until two nights ago when Goldie was very sick. He went to the vet yesterday and into surgery for what the vet thought was a blockage. However, there was something wrong with Goldie's stomach and he stitched him up and said we needed to see a specialist. Goldie is at Blue Pearl and we desperately need donations so he can receive a life saving surgery. Currently there is a thickening blocking the entry from his stomach to his intestines and he won't survive without surgery.
