————————————————————————————————————————————
Back in November, I started feeling strangely ill. At first, I thought it was the flu but after a couple of days, I knew that was not it. My blood pressure was all over the map and my heart was racing. I decided it was time to go to Urgent care.
After a few tests, I was admitted to Kaiser Sunnyside. One ambulance ride later I was assigned a room where I would stay for the next 3 days.
Turns out I had ATRIAL FIBRILLATION WITH RAPID VENTRICULAR RESPONSE. After trying medications it was determined I would need to undergo a procedure (cardioverted) to stop the heart and restart it to get it to return to normal. This was done and I was back to normal.
The team of Doctors I had was great and it went by the book.
Now the thing is that my insurance coverage only paid for part of this
and the follow-up procedure, a CARDIAC ABLATION, I will need to have done to prevent it from happening again. My medications have changed as well and although my plan makes the costs mostly affordable, some of the new ones have no generic brand so I need to pay full price for those.
I need help in paying for medical expenses. I was hoping I could handle this myself but the medical system wants payment in full even though you make payments as you can. I would like to make sure these are covered and paid so that I can continue with a healthy life.
Thank you so much for your kindness!
