Hi my name is Tirese I’m starting this fundraiser for a friend in need of help. Nova had her mri and she had a spinal stroke that caused a clot. The condition is called an FCE. This is what caused her to be paralyzed. The dr said there is not a surgery to fix it but the dr said she may or may not recover that she needs strict bed rest for the next few months in hopes of recovery and recommends that I do range of motion, massage and water therapy at home and laser therapy twice a week with her vet and medication management. And walk her with a sling. This will be pretty costly and time consuming so although she’s not getting an expensive surgery (which I wish surgery could fix her), she will need weekly laser treatments for atleast a few months. She just turned three yrs old and is full of love and energy and lots of life in her.
