We apologize for any inconvenience. We want to be honest about this Facebook page. This page was originally removed because some family members were concerned about the negative connotation that Gofundme has. They also didn’t thoroughly realize the financial situation. After sitting with the funeral director and attorneys the family is in agreement that this is necessary,
Steven Sumner passed away unexpectedly January 2, 2019. He was taking charge of his health and preparing for a life changing weight loss surgery. He was more positive than ever. He had a new lease on life . If you knew Steven you knew just how big his heart was. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and son. He was one of the hardest working people I knew. He would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his children David Gonsalves, Scott Gonsalves, Gregory Gonsalves, Theresa Brown as well as many other loving family members. Please consider helping out his loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without him. Donations will go directly to his wife, Sandra Sumner, to help with end of life costs and future expenses.
Despite its negative connotation, his son feels that it is a beautiful vehicle to honor someone as well as send condolences to family. In lieu of flowers and donations to charity we personally would rather donate directly to the family. Thank you for taking time to read and share.
