Support Sarah's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer (Stage IV Invasive Ductal Carcinoma ER/HER2+) earlier this summer. It still feels surreal in many regards and yet, here we are. She has an amazing care team at UCHealth which specializes in Breast Cancer in young adults (who knew?) Because of her age and the on-going breakthroughs in cancer research, her prognosis is good, and she is being treated with “curative intent”. With that said, she has a long road of treatment ahead of her which will begin with chemotherapy, followed by surgery, radiation and extended immunotherapy for the next 3 - 5 years.
As a family, we are strong and committed to support her in every way. We are also, so very grateful for the love and support you have shown. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for any help, financial or otherwise, that you are able to provide at this time. Sarah may need to temporarily cut back on work hours to make time for treatment. And despite having excellent healthcare, Sarah will still be facing over $10,000 a year of out of pocket expenses.

- Chemo Treatments with Dignicap (cold cap to prevent hair loss)
- Diagnostic and Ongoing Biopsies
- Fertility Medication & Egg Storage
- Over the counter meds
- Chemo side-effect Medication
- Last minute travel costs for caregivers to travel to her
- Lyfts/Ubers to appointments she can't drive herself to
