Support Jake's Road to Recovery

My name is Faith DeCesare a close friend, neighbor ,and 2nd family to Jake and Emily. We are raising funds for the family for medical expenses and other expense they may occur. On Saturday August 10th, Jake was involved in a severe crash during a dirt bike race, resulting in significant injuries. He was stabilized by quick-thinking paramedics and spectators before being airlifted to St. Elizabeth's in Youngstown. Jake underwent surgery to address internal bleeding and had his spleen removed. He also sustained two punctured lungs, a minor brain bruise, and damage to one carotid artery.

Currently, Jake is on a ventilator, which has been gradually reduced from 100% to 50% as he shows signs of improvement. His oxygen levels remain stable at 100, and the medical team is carefully monitoring his progress.

While Jake is not yet out of the woods, his youth, health, and strength are working in his favor. Every small step forward is a victory, and your continued prayers and support mean the world.

This journey is far from over, but everyone is remaining hopeful for Jake’s recovery. His wife Emily and dozens of family members have constantly been by his side. His two kids, Luke (7) and Kiley Jo (4) are with family and are doing well. Jake is a fighter and will have a long road ahead to being the Superman dad, husband, brother, and friend we all know and love. Your generosity and positive energy are deeply appreciated.
