My name is Amy, I am a mother of 3 wonderful boys, 15, 12 and 8. I have been recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I underwent a large surgery called a Whipple Procedure and I am in the process of starting chemotherapy. I am a proud and strong woman, I have survived leukemia at the age of 22. This is a fight I am willing to take on, but as we all do sometimes, we have to swallow our pride and ask for help when we have trouble helping ourselves. I'm humbly asking for Your donations so that I can get to the treatments that will save my life. The funds that are donated will go the following and the following only. Obtaining reliable transportation as it is 2 hours from my home and is vital in getting me to my appointments. Co pays, the medications I need, and monthly expenses (Food, electricity, water, rent) Anyone who knows me will tell you I am both modest with my problems and infuriatingly stubborn in asking for help. However this is now one of the few options I have left. I know that I can beat this thing and that I will watch my children grow and pursue their dreams with me at their sides. There is nothing I want more than that. Any manner of donation you are able to give would not only help me get to my treatments and keep my life together, but also keep my spirits up on this long road I'm taking.
