STEVE THOMAS MEMORIAL BENCH

Dear friends of Steve - On this one year anniversary of his passing, we wish to organize to place a new memorial bench and plaque to honor Steve's memory at Sea Cloud Park. This park is close to the Thomas home, and also where he spent so many years with his kids, coaching AYSO soccer.  The friends, soccer players, parents and coaches involved with AYSO will be able to see this bench, and hopefully sit with their fond memories of Steve.  This is just one small way the community can remember Steve, who played such a wonderful role in our lives, and the lives of many children.  

A site for this bench has now been chosen.  See the new photo of the view from said bench - over one of the soccer fields Steve spent much time on.  Toward the end of this week, bench funds will be given to the city to move forward.  The completed bench and plaque should be ready in approximately two months.
