Hello, my name is Alaa and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read our family’s story.

My family consists of 8 individuals all of whom endure dire conditions and are deprived of the basic necessities of life. After the shelling of their home eight months ago, they have found themselves repeatedly displaced due to the constant danger and bombing that occurs around them. They have stayed on the streets for weeks until they were able to secure a tent, and even so, the tent provides them no protection from the constant war surrounding their shelter and from the elements. At the moment, they are struggiling to get clean water and food and I am desperate to raise enough funds to bring them to safety.

My mother and father suffer from many medical issues and have been unable to secure adequate medication to help ease their pain.

My father suffers from colon cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes . He need to travel outside for follow up.

My mother also has diabetes and a thyroid disorder and hasn’t had enough medication since their home was shelled months ago.

My oldest brother who is newly graduated doctor lost his job at NGO, and now he is volunteering to help people.

My Second brother, was at the begining of his 4th year as dental student. His university is totally destroyed, no more future for him in Gaza.

My sister who is married for 7 years now was trying get a baby. She had two failed IVF. Her last frozen embryo was kept in a lab in Gaza city. The lab and clinic were totally destroyed.

My other sister who recently finished her dental school and started internship also lost her training and future.

My family barely escaped the bombing of their home, endured diseases, an unreliable tent, scarce medicine and the fear of death in every second of the day. They left their homes, walked for hours in the scorching heat without proper clothing and are now facing a harsh weather without elrctricity . My family has lost everything, their home, possessions, money and I now fear they lose their lives from either from the shelling or from disease and hunger.

My family consists of eight members. My mother, father, brothers, sisters , some of whom are married and are also grappling with partially or completely destroyed homes.

My desperate plea is to ensure their safety until the situation subsides, and I can no longer bear the thought of losing them before my eyes. Your assistance in navigating this challenging circumstance is invaluable and deeply appreciated. I have attached images illustrating the destruction faced by my family below.
