Hola, mi nombre es Vanessa Jiménez, y hoy quiero compartir mi historia con el corazón en la mano.

Hace un año mi vida cambió por completo: fui diagnosticada con cáncer de seno. Desde entonces, he pasado por un camino muy difícil lleno de cirugías, quimioterapias y radioterapias. Cada día ha sido una batalla, pero también una oportunidad para aferrarme a la esperanza, por mí y por mis dos hijas, de 8 y 5 años, que son mi motor y mi razón para seguir luchando.

Gracias a Dios y al apoyo de mi familia, logré superar las etapas más duras del tratamiento inicial. Sin embargo, recientemente recibí la noticia de que necesito una nueva operación y tratamientos mensuales que lamentablemente mi seguro no cubre. Además, tengo que hacerme varios exámenes médicos que debo pagar por mi cuenta.

Esta situación se ha vuelto muy difícil para nosotros. Entre los gastos médicos, el tratamiento continuo, la vivienda y la comida, nuestras finanzas están al límite. Estoy haciendo todo lo posible por mantener la estabilidad para mis hijas, pero los costos médicos son muy altos y ya no puedo hacerlo sola.

Por eso hoy me atrevo a pedir ayuda. No es fácil, pero lo hago con fe y con la esperanza de que hay personas solidarias que puedan tenderme una mano. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que parezca, hará una gran diferencia: ayudará a cubrir mis tratamientos, los exámenes y me permitirá seguir luchando por mi vida y por el futuro de mis niñas.

Hello, my name is Vanessa Jimenez, and today I want to share my story from the bottom of my heart.

A year ago, my life changed completely, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, I’ve gone through a very difficult journey filled with surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. Every day has been a battle, but also an opportunity to hold on to hope — for myself and for my two daughters, ages 8 and 5, who are my strength and my reason to keep fighting.

Thanks to God and the support of my family, I was able to overcome the hardest stages of the initial treatment. However, I recently received the news that I now need another surgery and monthly treatments that, unfortunately, my insurance does not cover. I also need to undergo several medical exams that I have to pay for out of pocket.

This situation has become very difficult for us. Between medical expenses, ongoing treatments, housing, and food, our finances are stretched to the limit. I’m doing everything I can to keep stability for my daughters, but the medical costs are simply too high, and I can’t manage them alone.

That’s why today, I’m humbly asking for help. It’s not easy for me to do this, but I do it with faith and with the hope that there are kind-hearted people willing to lend a hand. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference — it will help cover my treatments, medical tests, and give me the chance to continue fighting for my life and for the future of my girls.
