Grateful Heart Goes Home!

Until his sudden death early in September of 2022, Mr. Valentine Izuchukwu Abel was a Nigerian-American based in the United States. He traveled to Nigeria to visit his wife and two-year-old twin boys but mysteriously died in his hotel room in Lagos, Nigeria, under unexplainable circumstances. Bro. Val, as he was popularly called, was a young man full of life, love, and laughter. He maintained an active social media presence as the founder of IgboTV on Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram. He also used his personal blog posts and Grateful Hearts TV page to share news, comedies, music, and Nigerian/African politics and current events. He graduated from Bowie State University, Maryland, USA, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and until his death, he worked with Symbral Foundation For Community Inc in Silver Spring, Maryland. His ultimate dream was to have his pregnant wife and twin boys join him here in the U.S., but sadly, he could not achieve this critical goal before his untimely exit from the stage of life. Given the circumstances of his death, his pregnant wife, two kids, and the fact that he does not have any direct family relatives here in the U.S., we, his committee of friends, are soliciting your help to assist in funding his funeral and in supporting the young family he left behind.
